Merseyside’s newest attraction will become UK hub of science and discovery for young people

Eureka! Mersey rebrands to ‘Eureka! Science + Discovery’ as we set out to build the UK’s brightest and best attraction to inspire young people about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) subjects.

We’re excited to unveil a new video to celebrate our brand launch as work gets underway:

We’re launching a visionary new brand aimed at inspiring a new generation of young scientists and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) superfans.

We’ll now be known as Eureka! Science + Discovery, and we’re celebrating by launching our new teaser video and this website to excite and inspire audiences as work on the site gets underway.

“We hope Eureka! Science + Discovery inspires millions of young people and families to get excited and engaged with science and STEAM subjects,” said Eureka!’s Chief Executive, Leigh-Anne Stradeski.

“Eureka! in Halifax is very much known as the national children’s museum, but we know Eureka Science + Discovery in the Liverpool City Region will bring something else and appeal to older children and families. Put simply, we just want to get young people more excited about science and technology, helping to encourage them to explore and fall in love with STEAM subjects.”

The rebrand activity, including a new brand and logo, was carried out by Liverpool-based PlayMaker Studio, and a new website for Eureka! Science + Discovery, developed by digital agency Rubber Cheese.

The attraction is set to open in autumn 2022.
